Relational Counsellor

As a relational counsellor, my focus is on the importance of relationships in shaping who you are and how you navigate life. Relationships, whether with family, friends, romantic partners, or even colleagues, play a significant role in your emotional well-being.  Sometimes, difficulties in these areas can leave you feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected.


In our sessions, we’ll explore how your past and present relationships have influenced your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. This might include:

  • Understanding patterns in how you relate to others.
  • Examining how early relationships, like those with caregivers, shaped your view of yourself and others.
  • Identifying and addressing relational struggles that might be holding you back.


Our therapeutic relationship is also a key part of the process. I work to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore these patterns and begin to shift them in ways that feel empowering.


This approach is especially helpful if you’re:

  • Struggling with self-esteem or seeking validation in relationships.
  • Feeling reactive or disconnected in your relationships.

Individual Counselling

I provide counselling and psychotherapy for individuals navigating relationship challenges, including difficulties with emotional and physical intimacy. I focus on helping you understand how your early experiences, past relationships, and childhood patterns may influence your current connections. Whether you’re struggling with communication, emotional closeness, or recurring challenges in personal or romantic relationships, I offer a safe and supportive space to explore these issues.


As an integrative therapist, I draw from various approaches tailored to your needs. This includes psychodynamic therapy to uncover and process deep-rooted emotional patterns, inner child and parts work to address unresolved feelings, and person-centred therapy to empower you as the expert in your own life. I am currently undergoing training in the Gottman Method and Tammy Nelson’s relational and intimacy frameworks, which enrich my ability to support clients with relationship and intimacy challenges.


While I am not a couples or sex therapist, my training enhances my understanding of relationship and intimacy challenges and equips me with tools to support you in exploring and addressing concerns around emotional and physical connection.


I also work with parents and couples on issues relating to parenting, particularly where past experiences and relational patterns may be affecting their interactions with their children and partners. My approach helps parents explore triggers, strengthen emotional understanding, and develop compassionate responses to their child's needs. For couples, I provide support in navigating shared parenting challenges, fostering communication, and building a collaborative approach to family life.


My approach is collaborative and compassionate, creating a space where you can explore how past and present experiences shape your relationships. Together, we’ll work towards building healthier, more fulfilling connections and fostering deeper intimacy and understanding in your life.
